Soon after, people across the globe started to show strange symptoms.
One Month LaterThe infected lost their minds, lashing out and biting anyone they encountered.
Infection rates soared, quickly surpassing the point of control.
Governments declared official lockdowns and set up barricades in key districts.
But Seoul's dense population made containment impossible; the damange from infection escalated exponentially.
Six Months LaterMost nations abandoned and quarantined their capitals and major cities.
Survivor bases, including the one in Yeouido, began to emerge.
With various groups seizing control, civil unrest escalated into full-scale riots, looting, and crime.
The social, political, and economic infrastructure quickly fell apart.
After the official declaration of the vaccine's failure and the end of its development,
the world plunged into a full-scale zombie apocalypse - beginning in the world's most densely populated cities: New York, London, Paris, Tokyo… and Seoul.
The World NowOnly a few survivor bases still remain, as Yeouido stands as the largest safehaven in Seoul.
Beyond its walls, scattered groups fight to survive, scraping by day to day in the ruins.
